Prior to joining the Pioneers, Joe was the Director of Ticket Sales with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Red Barons baseball team from February 1999 until June 2006. Joe was also employed in management with Rent A Center and in sales with Northeast Business Systems and Swift & Barnes.

Joe has been a PIAA football official for the last 15 seasons. He is a past president for the Scranton Chapter, in addition to being an Executive Board member for several seasons. He also volunteers his time as a committee member for the Scranton Lions All-Star Football Game, benifiting the local blind association.

Joe is a graduate of West Scranton High School . He received a BS in Business Administration majoring in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He resides in Taylor with his wife Belinda and their two daughters Katelyn and Kelsey.
