2008:Justin Parrish is a pass rushing beast. As the game gets longer Jstin just keeps coming to the QB. Versitile enough to get to the QB from defensive end or the mack linebacker, Justin is a key member of the Pioneers improved pass rush.

2007: While with the Laredo Lobos, Parrish played in 11 games where he made his defensive presence known by picking up 18.5 tackles, 14 of them solo. He also had a sack for a total loss of 11 yards.

College: Justin Parrish was one of the better Linebacker/rush end combinations not only in the MAC but in the nation during his stint at Kent State. Parrish lined up at linebacker in a majority of the plays, but he also was used on the defensive line as an extra pass rusher. Parrish made his splash in 2003, starting the last nine games of the season. But in 2004 was when Parrish really shined. He was named to SI.com’s All American honorable mention. He racked up 14 sacks, second in the MAC and fourth nationally, and truly became the linebacker/end that dominates in the Flashes defense. He played in 11 games, making 56 total tackles, 32 of them solo. He had 2 pass break-ups and 3 forced fumbles.  In 2005 Parrish tallied 96 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles and 5 pass break-ups. Also in 2005, Parrish was named to the preseason All-MAC Team by nearly every college football preview publications. He was selected as the MAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year by both ESPN/Blue Ribbon Yearbook and CBS Sportsline and FIRST TEAM ALL MAC.
